The service at Bourbon Street Grille was great. Our waitress had every table in the place and was making all of the bar drinks as well. It's a small place and seemed as it was all hands on deck! We both ordered jambalaya - 1 w shrimp and 1 combo w sausage and shrimp. The food was tasty, but the vegetables in the jambalaya had crunch to them, to me they hadn't been cooked long enough to make them soft. ( to be fair we were there soon after they opened.). The cornbread was a bit dry, as it is apt to be, but with a little butter, it was a tasty addition. The drinks were good. A huge piece of bacon in the Bloody Mary, and my holiday mule was a perfect blend w cranberry and the spring of rosemary added a nice flavor.

Wow! Food was DELICIOUS!!! The atmosphere literally made us feel like we were in New Orleans. Very impressed. The service was quick and pleasant as well.

Stopped in on a Monday evening and enjoyed a perfect early autumn dinner on the balcony. The cocktails were spot on, especially the Spiced Pear Mule, which was recommended by our waitress. All our meals were delicious, even the grilled chicken and sweet potatoes kids' meal. For what you get, this meal was probably the best value of any place we ate on our trip to Dahlonega. For four entrees, two cocktails, and two bottles root beers, we made it out just under $100. This recommendation from our host definitely lived up to the accolades!

Bourbon Street Grill in the Public Square in Dahlonega. We first started out in their bar area for cocktails and we shared a cup of gumbo. The Grey Goose Dirty Martini: I swear the martini was a big as my head. It was so delicious and served ultra, ultra cold just the way a martini should be. THIS was a one great dirty martini! Their Gumbo: Chicken and mild sausage slow cooked in a seasoned brown roux. THIS was the BEST gumbo I've had in my entire life! Smoky with the right amount heat that didn't burn your mouth, it tingled your tongue. The sausage was so flavorful. There were a lot of "Wow! Whoa! Omg, this is so delicious! Holy moly this is Soooo good! Mmmmm!" comments coming from our table. . We later moved onto their outdoor patio for dinner. It's so nice out there. I ordered Blackened Red Snapper, garlic smashed red potatoes, grilled asparagus tips, and topped with a balsamic reduction. My husband went with their Shrimp & Gouda Grits The Blackened Red Snapper: PURRFECTLY blackened. I do mean perfect! The right amount of seasoning on this incredibly cooked Red Snapper. The grilled asparagus tips with the balsamic reduction were cooked to PERFECTION, "tender-crisp" to say the least. You could hear the crispness as you bit into each piece of asparagus. The garlic smashed red potatoes were so flavorful, it was to die for and drizzled with I'm guessing was the blacking seasoning butter goodness. Whoa! The Shimp & Grits: It dish was FABulous! Served with trinity, colored bell peppers in a seasoned white wine butter sauce over Gouda grits. It was seasoned to perfection, the Gouda Grits were just right and didn't distract from the flavorful Shrimp. It was a great balance. The assorted bell peppers and trinity was cooked just right.. tender crisp and the vibrant colors really made this dish POP! Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommended this restaurant! The prices are unbelievably reasonable! The service is friendly, attentive and superb. You are so welcomed and are WELL taken cared off. The food is top quality and jaw dropping delicious. Fantastic atmosphere in cool historical building. They do it right at this restaurant! It clearly takes a team to make everything so perfect. Very, very impressive restaurant, we WILL be coming back.

$$ First time at Bourbon Street Grille here in dahlonega Georgia was wonderful! Having lunch with friends in a very bright and airy back porch area was fresh and friendly. Food was delicious, and served hot. There is ample seating both inside and out, upstairs and down. We will definitely be visiting this establishment again as a service was friendly, and efficient. Fast service with a reservation. The atmosphere was uplifting and very friendly. The BLT on sourdough with fries was excellent.

Came here after a trip to Amicalola Falls and was pleasantly surprised. This is a New Orleans creole style restaurant with a lot of great options. I came with a party of 6 with no reservation and we were seated within 15 mins no issue. This is a very casual restaurant and they offered both a brunch and dinner menu. I had a hard time deciding what to order, concerned with how some of the dishes looked in pictures, but was pleasantly surprised. I decided on the Praline French Toast with Fried Chicken. I normally don't do really sweet dishes but the French Toast was perfect. As a person with very sensitive teeth I had no issues with the French toast which was topped with a praline sauce which was lightly sweet. I wasn't a fan of the chicken which were thin filets of chicken breast. I was expecting a juicy wing, thigh it breast. Other than that I was pleased with the food, pricing, and casual atmosphere.

Had a nice relaxed dinner after a hike at Vogel state park. It's got a dive vibe, pretty casual. Parking was free and easy, a short walk away. We went upstairs and were seated immediately since we didn't prefer outdoor seating. Our server was very kind and attentive! Overall really pleased with the food! We got the crawfish dip appetizer and the house made chips were soooo good! Good amount of crawfish. I got the crab cake BLT with fries. The crab cake sandwich was DELICIOUS and came with a great remoulade sauce. The fries were good, however they were wayyyyy too seasoned. I was using a napkin to wipe off excess seasoning (and trust me, I LOVE seasoning) I asked for extra remoulade for my fries and to take home. I found out when we checked out that they charged me for them, which is fine but I wasn't aware. My friend got a cocktail and the shrimp po boy with blackened shrimp, which came with chips. She loved it! We were too full for dessert. I will definitely be back to try their dessert!
